What is the difference between ‘bright’ and ‘live’ beer?
Most of the beer we supply is ‘bright’ and can be drunk straight from the container. This is appropriate for events where the beer will be drunk over a short period of time and needs to be moved around prior to the event.
We also supply beer which is live, still contains the yeast and needs to settle for a little while before drinking. The live beer will maintain its fizz over a longer period of time but must be kept in cool, cellar-like conditions and must not be moved once settled.
What do the containers look like?

What do I get with each container?
The 5L Minican, 10L and 20L Box all come as they are.
The 9G Casks come with a tap, a hard peg and an auto-tilt if required. We are happy to demonstrate how to set the beer up correctly on collection.
Presentational stickers or clips are available if required.
How do I order and collect?
If you would like to select a particular beer and container size you are advised to order well in advance. Please email pilgrimbrewerysales@gmail.com or call the brewery on 01737 222 651 to place your order or to discuss the various options further.
Collections are usually arranged for Thursday, Friday or Saturday between 10am and 3pm. Arrangements can be made for other times during the week if agreed in advance. Pilgrim Brewery’s address is 11 West Street, Reigate, RH2 9BL.
What are the methods of payment and are the prices inclusive of VAT?
We are happy to accept cheque or cash payments or a swop for vegetables, honey etc at an exchange rate tba. We cannot accept card payments as a result of a general in-house intellectual failing. All prices are inclusive of an enormous Government 20% VAT. One fifth of our sale price! Please pay the VAT without complaint, safe in the knowledge you are, again, helping to support a banker's lifestyle somewhere....
