Our Year Round Beers

Surrey Bitter 3.7%

An easy drinking but full bodied bitter amber in colour hopped with Worcester Goldings and Bohemian Styrians.

Weald Ale 3.7%

Same malt structure as Surrey but with different hops, available mostly in Kent and Sussex.

Templar 3.8%

Created for the Trafalgar Free House this is now available in the freetrade. Brewed with Burton yeast, water high in sulphates with a blend of Pioneer and Brewers gold hops this is an extraordinarily refreshing beer. The hint of smokiness comes from Bavarian pale malt smoked over beechwood.

Moild 3.8%

Introduced in 2008 this is a full-bodied dark, soft mild. Very well regarded and becoming extremely popular

Progress 4%

Our first beer brewed on January 8 1982, a rich malty best bitter with a Styrian hop flavour and balanced bitterness.

Porter 4.1%

A richly coloured beer, sweetish when young but developing a lovely body when correctly conditioned in the cellar. Very smooth with some roast barley bitterness.
